Selling a home, cabin or farm
From the first talk to keys in hand.
Selling is one of the biggest decisions you make. Here is how we do it – stone by stone, without shortcuts.

How we sell
Seven stones to the keys.
A cairn is built from the bottom, one stone at a time – and no stone can be skipped. A good sale is the same. Read on, and we lay the stones as you go.

stones laid · The first talk
01
The first talk
We talk about the home or cabin, the timing and what you want to achieve. No obligation – at our office in Gol or wherever you are.
02
Valuation
We view the property on site and compare it with what has actually sold nearby – in the village and in the mountains.
03
Assignment agreement
Fees, outlays and what is included are agreed in writing before we start – as the Real Estate Agency Act requires.
04
Preparation
Condition report, seller’s declaration, photos and prospectus. For cabins also road, water, sewage and plot – everything buyers ask about.
05
Listing and viewings
The property is presented on FINN.no and shown – also at weekends, when the cabin crowd is in the mountains.
06
Bidding
We run the bidding and notify you of every bid. You decide – we give you the facts.
07
Contract, settlement and keys
Contract, handover and settlement. The last stone is laid when the keys have changed hands.
Get ready
Good to have ready.
You don't need everything before you get in touch – but the more we have early on, the sooner the property reaches the market.
- 1Condition report from a surveyor
- 2Seller’s declaration about the property
- 3Municipal fees, electricity and any shared costs
- 4For cabins: road, snow clearing, water and sewage
- 5Drawings and any completion certificates
- 6For farms: licensing, allodial rights and farmland
Written agreement
Fees and outlays are set out in black and white in the assignment agreement before work begins.
Village and mountain
We know both the valley villages and the mountain cabin areas – and the difference between them when a buyer decides.
Short distance
The office is in central Gol. We are happy to visit, and you get answers from the person actually handling your property.

No-obligation valuation
What is your property worth today?
Home, cabin or farm – tell us a little about the property and we'll get in touch for a chat and a visit. You are not committing to anything.
